Sorry been out of the loop. My houses did not burn down, but my shop, barn, and travel trailer did. I lost all my tools, engines, and spare parts so I have to start all over. I still don’t have internet service at my house so I haven’t been online much. All my family and pets are OK. I did lose my Barracuda, Suburban, and tractor. I will try and head over to the new site and register, but not having internet access has severely changed my habits referring to internet browsing. Here are a few pictures of the aftermath. There is also a picture of my Civic’s windshield after hitting a duck last week.

A lot of us were asking if you were OK in recent times , so I’m really glad to hear from you!

Lucky your home is intact, but I imagine a lot of smoke damage...and more importantly your critters and your family are safe.

I imagine insurance isn’t going to do too much? We’ve had insurance cover things before and what they gave us was pitiful :(

Hope the rest of this Winter is just ducky for you. Sounds like you have accepted the losses and are moving on.

In the short term tractor was probably the biggest loss and most likely item to have insurance help you replace immediately.

Thanks for checking in. Sorry to hear you lost so much but at least you didn’t lose your home. Poor Barracuda, it deserved better. Will insurance pay for the destruction of the outbuilding and contents?

And hitting that duck is just insult to injury. Ain’t nobody got time for that. Was there any other damage besides the windshield?
